'Akshar: Essays on Typography & Layouts' is a collection of 23 essays by RMIT students focusing on dissecting the typography, layouts, grids, typefaces, and philosophies of various publications of all varieties from literature, to catalogues, and even cookbooks. These essays were written for the Master of Communication Design program's 'Typography for Publication Design' course in 2025 and compiled into this book as part of an assignment.
